It was so beautiful coming out of the box and seemed to play great. I only have one problem which I have no idea how this could happen. I went to tune it to standard (EADG). All was right except the A string which I can't get past a C sharp. I suppose this could be fixed with string replacement, but I have not yet done so because I don't have extra money to go get strings. Otherwise this is a great bass for the price and makes for an amazing practice bass or one for a beginner. It doesnt go out of tune alot but i do reccomend getting a tuner so you can tune it when it does go out of tune. This is a great bass for beginners and i recommend getting it.
